Mid Week – Week #21

14th May 2019

It’s mid week and I guess after tomorrow everyone is gearing up to head for the weekends. Bitcoin has risen a lot and Steem has also risen. Have you invested in any Cryptos?

Hopefully, Steem hits USD 1/Steem by year end. President Trump has been waging trade wars. Luckily, it’s not about nuclear weapons of mass destruction these days. I guess, the next few decade would be more on cyber threats and how drones are hijacked from it’s backdoor.

In a few more months, I am going to be a year in Steemit. I have been spending a lot of time writing that I will slowly claim some time off to catch up with some book reading and workouts. I have gotten more engaged as the day goes into Steemit and it is now an important part of my life. I am still currently working on my own formula of how to slowly get a sustainable income which I think is an accumulation of a virtual real estate. I think in the future, more of us are gonna instead of having physical property have stakes in virtual estates. If there isn’t physical land, where can we built? Instead of owning a whole physical real estate, the better way is to own portions of it reducing risk substantially.

I have learnt to write better works by practicing writing daily. I don’t think it’s been a day for the last 260 plus days where I missed a day or two with no content. Sometimes, there is this part of me that doesn’t feel like doing it but the other part that says

“HEY! You haven’t come this far just to return back. It’s how life is. Hard things make our mind stronger. “

Bitcoin – A potential Cup and handle

13th May 2019. Bitcoin unexpectedly crosses 7300 USD / BTC. Bitcoin has surprised us yet again. Investing is one of the best wonders of the world. Knowledge benefits those who seek it. It’s like having an extended self working after you have done the work.

I had to check the charts to see where the price is heading towards. Where the wind bows, it is hard to sail from the opposite. Let the wind bring us higher and find cover when the storms are here. That’s how I usually look at investments. Tides.

Typical Cup and Handle pattern formation

Typically, the price goes down dramatically and stabilizes before heading upwards. Price will dip slightly and go upwards and it’s time to take profits and wait for the next dip.

BTC is worth 7000 USD

As of tonight, Bitcoin is hovering around USD 7400. I guess everyone is looking for another safe haven other than the USD and Yen as Dow Jones has gone down.

If indeed BTC is currently at a cup and handle pattern, then it may go up to 7.8k to 8k and slide 1 to 2k before heading upwards. Bitcoins may hit 10k then we should be cautious of where it’s heading after that. I still remember some articles I read in December that highlighted Bitcoin’s rise this time around would be at 30k. I am not sure if it can really go that high. However, history has shown that each downtrend leads to a higher peak. If BTC really hits 30k this time, I have to make sure I accumulate my BTC chest.

I just hope that before BTC hits 100k one day, I would at least just have 3 BTC’s then, it would make me a really happy lad. Can BTC make the 30k?

Fighting with my family – Movie review

Being a wrestling fan for a big portion of my life, there were times when I stayed up all night just to watch wrestling. Stone Cold and The Rock were my two favorite superstars of all time. I even went to see a WWE live event in Kuala Lumpur in 2014. It was really spectacular watching it live near the ring.

I used to believe wrestling was real but one day I had to take a bit of time to really accept that wrestling wasn’t real at all. It is scripted but I do know that sometimes the pain is real.

This movie is about the life of Paige as she slowly becomes the superstar Diva in the WWE. Honestly, I did not know why Paige was until I watched this movie. I haven’t watched wrestling for many years even though my friend still told me that he still watches it weekly and follows up with ever single pay per view.

She comes from a wrestling family in Norwich, England and have been wrestling since she was 10. Her parents sign up her brother, Zak and her to try out at O2 Arena but WWE only agreed to sign her. Her brother tries to convince the WWE to give him another chance but he failed to do so.

As Paige enters the ring in her NXT live event. She freezes and is heckled really badly leaving her in a state of tears in the locker room. The NXT is a transitional training promotion by the WWE to find the next talent for WWE. After a lot of hard work and determination, she finally gets to Wrestlemania 30. She meets with the Rock who gives her the good news that she makes it to the main roster of the WWE. She has to wrestle AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s championship and wins.

2018, She had this injury that led to her ending her career.

I watched the whole movie and did some research. Some portions of the movie isn’t factual like her trainer who appears in the movie played by Vince Vaughn is fictional. Usually the real trainer in WWE is usually experience wrestlers who have been in the WWE for a long time.

I prefer him to be playing comedic roles. One day, he changed into this new style which had me taken by surprise.

The movie from my view lacks climax. It felt monotonous at times. When I watched the movie, I couldn’t feel the struggle faced by new wrestlers who would one day be WWE Champions. There was this lack of depth in character.

From my view, it’s not easy to make it in WWE. It’s a pretty tough career to be in. Why is it scripted while everyone gets paid differently. Does that mean that if the management likes certain superstars, they have bigger paychecks?
